if you are going to use the superplate glass to replace the black mylar sticker, one tip need your attention please,  in case of the nozzle touch and scrach the platform:

Because the superplate glass is 3mm thicker  than mylar sticker, After you replace the glass with existing mylar sticker,
pls remember to up the limit switch on Z axis for about 3mm, then do leveling before you start printing and you can also slightly adjust the knob under platform.

We choose silicon carbide glass with microporous coating as the building platform for 3D printer, without the need of attaching the masking tape.

 The silicon carbide glass is of chemical stability, high heat conductivity coefficient and good wear-resistance and can withstand extreme temperature. The special coating is inorganic and has a hardness of 8 Mohs, hence of high durability.

Compared with common building platform, this kind of tempered glass is of better adhesion and flatness and easy to take prints off. Besides, it is easy to clean with water or alcohol. Geeetech Superplate silicon carbide glass platform is regarded as a reliable building platform by 3D printing hobbyists.

    am i correct in guessing this doesnt replace the mylar it actually fits on top of mylar with either adhesive or clips?

      hello, it can put on the aluminum plate directly , or just put on mylar sticker , both ok. yes , you can use clips to fix it . it is also adhesive

    hello. just received this superplate. need to cange betwen mylar and this frequently, so my question if i use factory biadesive it can easly come of like mylar or it styks forever to bed?

      hello, you can use some samll clips to fix the glass platform on aluminum plate, so it can be easily taken off
