This board is based on the Arduino MEGA 2560 but modified to allow its use with Google's Android Open Accessory Development Kit (ADK) as it has a built-in USB Host port.
Arduino MEGA ADK is a board based on an ATmega2560 microcontroller. It has a USB host interface port to connect it with Android devices based on the MAX3421e chip.
It has 54 I/O pins (14 of which with PWM), 16 analog inputs, 4 UARTs ports (hardware), 16 MHz crystal oscillator, a USB connector, a power jack, ICSP pins and a reset button.
It has an integrated Serial/USB converter based on an Atmega8U2 chip.
