Description
LCD 2004 display is a basic 20 character by 4 line dot matrix controller module designed for different 3D printer motherboard. The product contains 20 Character x 4 Line LCD display, a rotary encoder. There is a SD Card slot on the back of the LCD Module, connecting it with the controller board of 3D Printer. Just insert your SD card into the SD slot, you can print 3D models without PC.

I have a a10 printer the problem is the heating, I have changed the hot end and thermistor but is still saying heating g failed.on the control panel the nozzle temp is saying 83degrees when cold .I have downloaded the latest firmware, but the panel still showing 83 degrees .
When you test the thermistor, just connect one side to the circuit board, the other side do not connect to the extruder: If the LCD display shows indoors temperature, the thermistor is good, the port on the circuit board is broken; If the LCD display shows not indoors temperature, but negative, the thermistor is broken.
Hi,seems no matter what I do the control panel reads 83 degrees even when hot end cable disconnected and hot end is cold .

_br_Hello Geeetech Support,_br_I recently received a MeCreator2 as a gift for our men's shed, and as someone who builds 3D printers, I'm having some trouble with it. I noticed a hole in the ribbon cable of the screen, so I replaced it with a 600mm long new one, but now I'm only seeing two lines of four on display. I also cut the old cable, so I can't trace the fault. I reinstalled the firmware from your site of GT2564 Rev. B without a problem, though altering the number of steps per unit on the Y axis didn't make any difference in the movement of the Y axis._br__br_I would really appreciate any advice you can offer._br__br_Thank you,_br_Istvan

I have an A10 with the old V3.0 mainboard and the screen doesn’t work. Is there a way I can upgrade it to an A10T? Or is there a way to upgrade this printer to the newer main board and newer parts? Since I have to buy a new mainboard and screen and power cable anyway I would like to upgrade it as much as I can.
hello, if there are only (2) lights on on the control board after power on the printer , then the control board is defective. but sorry, we do not have V3.0 and V3.1 board anymore . not sure if V4.0 board can be compatible or not , need change control board ,heatbed, extension board , screen , lcd cable and all the cables on control board into V4.0 version . but even change these items, still can not confirm it can work normally or not. not sure if there is any other difference will cause uncompatibility,like basement structure. if you would like to try change these items see if will work,pls email to sales@geeetech.com to order these parts.
How do I know if my screen is bad or if it is the ribbon cable? The screen does not come even thought everything else does.
If the LCD is not on, check whether there is backlight, and check whether there are 3 lights on the main board on; then check whether can connect to slicing software if the screen is on, but can not show any content, 1. pls try to reconnect the lcd cable, and check whether there is obvious damage of the cable (this can avoid poor contact) 2. Then you can try to update the firmware (if you can't update the firmware, the motherboard is faulty. If you can update the firmware, but still does not work after updating, the cable may be damaged, need be replaced) 3. pls help check whether can connect to slicing software to control the printer .
