I recently purchased a Prusa i3 X printer that comes with an MK8 extruder. The wiki docs claim that the MK8 has a 7mm drive gear, but, when I opened it up to inspect the gear, I saw that it was actually ~10.6mm gear, which I believe is the older gear on the MK7. Can someone please explain why this is?
