I just noticed now whilst printing, the X-Stepper motor gets extremely hot! (I measured 56 degrees C, compared to the Y motor which was 36 degrees C)
NOTE: The above is the EXTERNAL TEMPERATURE! - inside the motor casing could be considerably hotter!!
Also, printer is new (less than one week) !
Indeed the printed piece has a long rectangle shape, with longest side aligned on X, so I can expect more work for the motor on X direction.
Still, it worries me because I don't know the safe temperature range for this motor.
If the voltage is not right, I'd welcome some assistance here (never dealt with a printer before, I might require some extensive explanation)
Please advise.

Hi, you can try to turn the drive board voltage down to view
Clockwise adjustment increases and counterclockwise decreases.-Keep your mind and try to test it.

What value should be the voltage and between which terminals to measure? I see there are 4 wires entering in the motor.
Thanks.
Thanks.

HI,The picture shows the driver board on the motherboard. You can try to adjust the voltage of the driver board to reduce the heat of the motor.

Re: MeCreator 2 - X Motor very hot!
I understand that...but HOW MUCH to reduce it? Which voltage (between which pins that voltage has to be measured)?
If i turn that potentiometer, i will not know how much I changed the voltage, unless I can measure it.
The diagram says voltage should be between 0.8 - 1.2V, but it doesn't say between which terminal it has to be measured. I see the black line drawing coming from the GND terminal, but the red line drawing goes to the potentiometer... I hope I am making sense.

Hi, the position measured is the position marked on the graph.

I am not sure I understand what the diagram shows ... because the red line goes in the center of the potentiometer, which normally is just a bushing (the rotation point). So, if one terminal is the GND terminal, which is the other terminal?
Please check the attached image, it explains what I'm trying to say.

Re: MeCreator 2 - X Motor very hot!
I'm sorry, this is not very helpful at all... In fact you either don't understand my question, or don't care much. Either way, your latest answer make no sense whatsoever. I am sorry that I had to say this
Re: MeCreator 2 - X Motor very hot!
Causes caused by overheating of the motor 1. The voltage of the drive board is too high;
2. Insufficient heat dissipation;
3. The temperature inside the house is higher than room temperature.
