3D Printing’s Glowworm — GlowFill

Good afternoon my dear friends. Remember I’ve ever introduced you guys the difference between the PLA and ABS the early time? The passage tells us how to operate the 3D printer accurately with different materials. Does it work? However, both the materials are too regular. Today I would like to introduce a fantastic gismo — the GlowFill.

Dutch 3D printer material manufacturer ColorFabb has launched an extreme intense GlowFill glow in the dark filament based on a highly concentrated phosphorescent pigment. The material has been engineered with the proven PLA/PHA 3D printing filament formulation.

As from the 4th of June this filament is available on their website in the special filaments section. Available in 1.75 mm and 2.85 mm.

Price is 39.95 Euro / spool, incl VAT / without shipping.

  • 100 meter spool / 2.85 mm filament = 750 gram
  • 260 meter spool / 1.75 mm filament = 750 gram

According to ColorFabb, the material has been fully tested on several desktop 3D printers, and the quality of 3D prints is excellent.
