A10 not printing

Post by MorosDoom » Mon Jan 28, 2019 8:34 am

I have a new A10 out of the box it was dead. I replaced the GT2560 V3.0 Control Board all the stepper driver chips.. Then updated firmware to 1.8
I have no screen since it smoked also.. But i can USB onto a computer and use simple 3d and a few others to move to home ZXY all move to the correct place it seems to have no issues Homing.
But as soon it prints the Z moves up a hair and nothing else moves.

Does anyone know what or how to get the steppers to print?

This is my 3rd controller board that was dead on arrival.
I hope this one at least could work?

I think there are exist the short circuit on your printer.
You'd better check the PSU ,heatbar and hot bed.
If the board died 3 times, you need to find the issue root.

The First time it was dead when i turned it on. I found Amazon sells the board so it took only two days to get instead of 2 months. But when it arrived a capacitor was broken off and sent that one back. This new board seems to home and the steppers move to the correct locations. The bed heats up without issue and so does the extruder. It looks like its going to start to print but nothing.
Also i can move the Z up to half way then it stops.

I suggest you check the hotend at first.
Maybe the hotend clogged.
For the z axis move, you can try to add some oil for the rod then test it.
