I've recieved this card all good, but when i did test it i realized that one of the magnetometers just return the same value all the time. X and Y axis of magnetometer is working all fine but Z is just returning (~10). how do we solve this. the board is obiously defect :/
And i have some printscreens on this, the IMU is stationary, but when i move it the Z value of the magnetometer picks random values between 0 and 15. Image (Click on picture for full size since the data is far to the right)

Hopefully we can solve this in some nice way since the card is DOA :(

Regards Pontus

Hi friend,

Please follow this link http://www.geeetech.com/wiki/index.php/ ... r_Breakout to test the magnetometer for the raw data, sometimes

this sensor need to be calibrated for accuracy.

For accuricy yes but for working at all, i do not think that calibration is the issue (or say im quite cetrain). I can agree that i get bad performance if i do not calibrate the sensors but i would still get change in Z axis. It is hard to calibrate a sensor that is malfunctioning.
To be clear, if i rotate the IMU in all possible directions, the last value is always the same (~10) which just cant be right. there is no way to calibrate for that.
