3.2" tft lcd

Post by shayanalibhatti » Sat Jan 19, 2013 3:31 pm

Hello! I bought the 3.2" tft lcd from you. Its model number is YX32B. As written in GETECH WIKI, the TFT LCD has 40 pins, 20 on each side with 2 parallel trails and you have shown JP1 panel only.

But the lcd i have got from you has 2 parallel trails with each having 16pins on each side total 32 pins. Also, it has JP1 panel to which no Header is connected and there is also JP2 panel where the same 32 pins are present but with headers.

Also, i cant see the SD CARD compartment.

Kindly guide me what you have sent and how i should interface it with Arduino Leonardo?

Hi friend,

It seems fellows send you the wrong one, please leave your ebay ID in my mailbox and we will provide you a replacement with SD card.

The UTFT library doesn't support Leonardo now, please use Uno , Mega or Duemilanove.

Sir,
Since i bought the lcd via your Amazon store so i, after getting my months of time wasted received the replacement. But still, the LCD i have got as a replacement has 3 differences from the one showcased at your store. They are :

1) a capacitor just beside capacitor C4 is missing (the missing capacitor is mentioned as C3 on Amazon store).
2) a capacitor just below Resistor R5 (the missing capacitor is mentioned as C6 on Amazon store).
3) a capacitor in the right of SD card slot below Resistor R4 and above Resistor R3 (the missing capacitor is mentioned as C8 on Amazon store)..

PROBLEM:
The lcd is working well but just after 4 seconds of its play, its graphics sort of diminish and scatter and after 10 seconds the text or the graphics are impossible to see. I have runned it more than 50 times but same problem occurs. I think it has something to do with the MISSING capacitors as poor filtering of graphics signals is causing the problem. Either tell me solution, if it is a known issue or tell me what can now happen ?

Will you tell why did these irresponsible problems in shipment occur ? because i initially ordered it in november so i can work on it after my exams but it was a defected piece. Then i got replacement in January and still it is different from the one shown.

Awaiting a quick response,
Shayan Ali Bhatti.

Hi friend,

I saw the pictures on the Amazon. The photo is the earlier version of this product years ago, the product sent to you is updated. So the product's quality should not be the problem. Does all the examples in the UTFT library have the problem as you mentioned ?

Not only the UTFT examples, but even if i make a random program without using the library, the problem remains same. The LCD runs well for 5-6 seconds but if it is made to display something new like ..other color or screen then its graphics diminish and scatter. It has happened always and even the UTFT library maker Henning Karlsen says that it might be hardware fault. Because all his libraries are tested on lcd modules.

Kindly give a solution to this at the quickest.

Shayan Ali Bhatti.
