Z-axis endstop too low down! + Z-axis motors DESYNC every few seconds

Post by SoupersSB » Fri Jun 08, 2018 8:06 pm

So I have just been trying to get my i3 pro b to work. Not only do my z-motors desync every few seconds, but also my z-endstop trigger screw is too short to hit the endstop! I believe I used the right screw that was said in the instructions yet the z-axis brass nuts hit the couplings before the screw touches the endstop: https://imgur.com/a/Xf6Kz0V

Seems that the coupling is a little hight mounted, adjust it down a little.
The Z-axis nut should be reversed...

If I have the z-axis nut the right way the screw holes don't line up. I have actually fixed the issue of the endstop being too low by using a longer screw.
