V5 IO Expansion/Xbee/Shield for Arduino Mega

There appears to be a missing track on the board sent to me. There is no connection from the 10K resistor that connects the Xbee pin 3 to the TX1 pin on the shield. The track goes from TX1 to an eyelet approximately 2mm from the end of the resistor (the resistor is beside Xbee pins 6 & 7). There is no track between the eyelet and the resistor. The other end of the resistor does connect to the Xbee pin3 ok.

As a result the Arduino cannot send any data via the Xbee radio.

Have I been sent a faulty board?
