Need help finding a heater resistor.

Post by DennisH » Fri Sep 23, 2016 4:57 am

I have an M-201 printer and when it works I love it. But the problem is I need a new heater resistor for it. I HAS to be a 24V, 14 ohm unit for the PID values to work. I've been told by Greeetech sales that they DON'T sell a replacement heater for that unit! I was told that I should just replace the whole hotend unit for $80, instead of getting a $2 part. The M-201 does not have an adjustable PID function so I need to replace with something original.
Anyone have a source.

If I gotta spend that much I'm just going to replace the control unit and go with a single hotend, but I really don't want to do that.
