As far as I know, the a20m motor is not suitable for installing a shock absorber, because its motor rotor cannot freely expand and contract.

hi :D The current is about 1A and there is no need to unplug the stepper motor connector. Use a multimeter the red probe lead to the screw and the black probe lead to GND. Keep the screws on the driver away from the side close to the edge of the motherboard for installation.This might solve your pro...

Sounds like a problem with filament? Maybe you can change to a new roll of filament.
