Re: First impressions
Well, I found the Printer settings. When I first looked at that page, it was very sparse, with little information. Now it has more stuff in it, but I can't change the baud rate. When I try, it gets changed back to 250000. The printer itself gets changed to 250000 as well. Not only that, but it seems...

Should to allow user to specify icon placement, TaskBar or Desktop. Settings window is not big enough for buttons, and it can't be resized. The bottom buttons are just barely visible, and the text on them can't be seen. Settings.jpg Selected Printer: G2S Pro. Selected Printer Information. Got Except...

According to the email, "EasyPrint is only compatible with windows system. We will keep on updating EasyPrint. Please stay tuned~"
Selon le courrier électronique, "EasyPrint n'est compatible qu'avec le système Windows. Nous continuerons à mettre à jour EasyPrint.

Re: Firmware for geeetech 3D printers
phil1325, you can use a later version. I am using 1.8.0, with only a minor change to the firmware. Go to page 13 of this thread, and search for the first post from NicoFR. That will tell you what to change. I did it, but missed one of the instances, so NicoFR pointed it out to me. This will allow yo...

Re: G2S Pro Stepper disable problem
I hope this is not considered hijacking a thread, but I have been trying to stop the print head from crashing to the bed after a G28 command. I had already set the printer settings as shown in this thread, which does solve the problem of the head dropping after a job finishes. However, it still cras...

Re: Nozzles levelling on g2s pro
I have the same problem as AndrewS. I have the aluminum block, but there are no screws in it. I can loosen the two nuts, and turn the barrel by hand, but of course, the end in the block screws out, and the end in the heater/nozzle block screws in, keeping the nozzle height the same. Are the set-scre...

Re: Firmware for geeetech 3D printers
Thanks. I'm fairly familiar with coding, though C++ is fairly recent for me. A few years ago, I helped out a fair amount on the Arduino forum. This 3D printing firmware is an order of magnitude larger, and spread out over way more files than the usual stuff I play with. You've just saved me a lot of...

Re: Strange Marlin.ino message
Never mind. I found the problem, though I am not at all sure why it did what it did. Turns out I have a Marlin.ino as well as a Marlin.pde Compiles fine now, and I can finally get back to talking to my printer.I've had it for about a yrear now, and have not found the time to get it calibrated and in...

Strange Marlin.ino message
I am tryng to compile Marlin, and am getting a strange thing happening. Arduino 1.8.0, Windows 10 (yuck). Geeetech G2S (pro). When I compile, I am getting a message that says "Marlin.ino already exists" Looking atthe IDE, I see two tabs entitles "Marlin". They are different from each other. The seco...
