printer sd card not detected in repetier firmware

Hello,
I'm having an issue with my firmware not recognizing the sd card in the geeetech i3 prusa printer slot. The manual mentions a checkbox in the printer settings - printer tab, but nothing is showing up.
"The next check boxes define, what the printer should do, when a print is finished and if a SD card is available. If no SD card is available, the corresponding tab will not be displayed." https://www.repetier.com/documentation/ ... iguration/

It happened that SD card slots did not work properly.
If you can check if the card detection contact in the slot is working well.
