Hi
This is my first build, but I'm not entirely clueless. Everything is hooked up correctly from what I can tell, however there seems to be something wrong at the 2560 end. On manual control all motors work as expected except one z axis motor. If I change the cable, the other motor works. If I completely change all cables, same issue, so it's not a cable problem, and it's not a motor problem. It seems to be lying in the output from the 2560 board.
Checking here to see if I'm missing something. I did adjust the potentiometer but that didn't seem to make a difference.
Would appreciate any guidance as to what I could check.
Thanks
Paul
Only 1 Z Axis Motor Running
Re: Only 1 Z Axis Motor Running
Hi, are you swapping the z-axis motor position on the motherboard with other motor positions?
If the motor inserted into the z-axis cannot operate normally,
There is a problem with the motor slot on the motherboard.

Hi William
Thanks for the quick reply. I am, I have plugged the non working motor into the X slot and it works fine. I've even swapped the stepper controllers on the board, but no difference. I was hoping it was a mistake i was making, but it's appearing more and more like a board issue

Hi, If it is a problem with the motor slot on the motherboard, you need to replace it.

Re: Only 1 Z Axis Motor Running
Would this serve for a correct alignment of Z in marlin? with the line that says #define Z_STEPPER_AUTO_ALIGN.
