dead lcd

Post by skav » Wed Sep 25, 2019 2:50 am

I have just changed the nozzle on my A10 and when I restarted the machine all was normal. I went to preheat the nozzle to start loading the PLA and the LCD flickered and died. there is a green light on in the power unit and a single red light on the main board. The fans and print bed have no power. Are there any fuses that could blow or anything I could check myself ? There is nothing on the LCD and no connection showing on my Windows 10 computer. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You blow up 10 A smd fuse. Most likely there is a short in your hotend (heater or thermistor).

Thank you for your quick response. Where on the a10 is the fuse so that I may replace it. I checked the hot end and found the cause of the short. If I can find the fuse and replace it all should be good. Thank you again for responding so quickly.
