Need help starting with Iduino Yun Shield

Hi,
I've been 2 weeks trying to start with my Iduino Yun Shield, but I can't. I would appreciate any kind of help. I don't know if the problem is on my hardware, my router, my software or my understanding of the logic of Iduino/Bridge.
I just want to call to a URL (rest service) to receive a plain text. If I get run the example HttpClient on Bridge it would be perfect, but I can't.
I followed this guide:
http://www.geeetech.com/wiki/index.php/ ... Yun_Shield
I have the Iduino connected to an original Arduino UNO (also tried with Sparkfun UNO Redboard and a chinese Mega2560). I guess Iduino always need to be connected to an arduino board, right?
The first problem I found setting up the Iduino is that I can connect it to my router's WiFi and it gets a correct IP, but I can not connect it via Ethernet cable. I plug it, but the router does not detect it or give it an IP.
Is it possible to connect Iduino via ethernet to a router or that port it's just a connector to attach other devices/sensors to the Iduino?
The next problem I found was on adding the new board. I added the lines to C:\Program Files (x86)\Arduino\hardware\arduino\avr\board.txt
but I can not see the Iduino board on Arduino IDE -> Tools -> Board
Even if I delete "board.txt", I get a warning message on IDE console, but it shows the same list of boards.
Even if I modify one of the existing boards names in "board.txt", IDE shows always the same names.
Also, I tried to downgrade the boards library to lowest (1.6.2) but nothing happens when I modify board.txt to add Iduino lines
But I didn't stop there. I tried to choose "Arudino Yun" as my board, and the Iduino Port. Whit that configuration I can upload the HttpClient example without errors, but it doesn't run. I get these messages on the Monitor Console:
Unable to connect: retrying (1)...
Unable to connect: retrying (2)...
Unable to connect: retrying (3)...
Unable to connect: retrying (4)...
Unable to connect: is the sketch using the bridge?
I don't know what else can I do. I'm going crazy trying to get just a plain text from an URL.
Sorry for the long post.
Thanks!
