powering the sim900 via non arduino mcu

Post by oldnotdead » Sun Feb 09, 2014 10:01 am

I want to power the sim900 via the 5 volts from my microcontroller (not an arduino). Do i connect
the 5 volts to the hole on sim900 board labeled 4.1 volt ? Please help as I do not want to damage
the board. Thank you.
