Procedure installed:

2. Restarted PC
3. Connected M201 USB to Windows10 64 PC

USB Device NOT recognized
- The last usb device you connected to this computer malfunctioned, and windows does not recognize it.

Tried remedy to no success:
1. Device Manager
2. Update Driver
3. Browse my computer for driver software
4. let me pick from list of available drivers on my computer
5. show compatible hardware (uncheck)
6. found Manufacture FTDI
7. Select each model one by one.......
So far nothing, which model should I select for windows10?
FT4222 Interface A version: 2.12.0.0 [8/26/2014]
FT4222 Interface A version: 2.12.6.0 [7/10/2015]
................................ etc

There are too many to try one by one. Which works with Geeetech Prusa I3 M201 Dual extruder Mixcolor open

Hi

Reading what you have written I guess that you may not have installed the correct driver version.
Our printer has a USB bridge <-> RS232, FT232RL.
You can read the marking on the chip located near the USB port. ;)

On this site you have all the information about this integrated circuit.: http://www.ftdichip.com/
There is also a link to download the right driver.

Unfortunately, I won't help you with this operating system, because I don't have one. :D
But I think that with new information you will be able to do a great job.

Hi

The Geeetech Team is currently modernising the way this forum works.
They make great efforts to improve communication. I think we will all be very happy with the results in a few days' time.

If you have nothing to be ashamed of, describe your problems in the new thread.
Maybe if we can solve your problem, someone else will benefit from the newly collected information. :)

One more point.
I have a huge request to make to you.

Can you not write texts in capital letters if this is not really justified?

I greet you warmly and wish you a pleasant day.
:D

I'm having the same problem, have installed the drivers and have tried several different printers, and different baud rates. I get the access denied message. Windows lists the device as a ch341 but EasyPrint will not connect.
