Geeetech i3 Pro B and 3D Touch

Post by kubasolan » Tue Aug 23, 2022 12:01 am

Hello fellow plastic melters.

I've recently installed a 3D Touch on my Geeetech i3 Pro B. Install went well and firmware modifications all went swimmingly.

My problem now is that on all G28 and G29 commands my nozzle is sitting about 2mm too far from the bed. I know this is a Z Offset issue and I've followed the 3D Touch wiki pointers, but I always end up with the same result.

Does anyone out there have any experience with this? Is this simply a mechanical issue i.e. I need to move the probe up a bit to accommodate this?

Any thoughts are much appreciated. And keep on keepin on you frenzied pioneers. I love browsing what you guys come up with in this sub.

Cheers!
