Extrusion problem

Post by lucioort » Sat Feb 02, 2019 6:23 pm

Hi to all!
This is my first post. I'm very new on the 3d printing. I bought geeetech prusa i3 pro b. After setting, it works quite fine with some example file by sd card and with the white sample filament that was in the box. Then i change the filament with the blu pla of geeetech and start some problem... it seems that the extruder doesnt discharge properly the filament

The printer is PI3 pro b, sw version 1.0.05
What can I do?

Do you have the correct distance set between the nozzle and glass. You will need to pre heat the extruder and slide a piece of paper in between on the four corners. It needs to be a firm slide and may need a bit of trial and error until you get all four corners even.
Also make sure the glass is very clean so the first layer sticks well to the glass.
I generally print pla at 210 deg and 60deg but have found the blue to be a bit temperamental compared with white.
I don’t know if this is of any help to you but maybe a start.
