Auto Bed Leveler issue

Post by CoffeeBeans » Thu Nov 08, 2018 1:57 am

Hey guys, recently added a auto bed leveler to my i3 pro b to help improve the print quality, however I have ran into a couple of issues. I'm using the GT2560 rev A+ board and after following the instructions the bed leveler appears to be working (pops in and out on startup).

The issue I am running into is that, the pin does not extend causing the extruder to press into the glass. I've followed all of the instructions as listed, the only difference is I am using the Ultimaker software (as I find it provided better prints) rather than the Repetier software suggested.

I've also attempted to use Repetier with the same results. The probe on the touch sensor does not seem to be extending to detect the base plate, nor do any of the Gcode commands do anything (M280 P0 S10 ; pushes the pin down M280 P0 S90 ; pulls the pin up M280 P0 S120 ; Self test – keeps going)

I've got the 3DTouch Auto Leveling Sensor as suggested on the website.

EDIT: This has been solved, see this post for my solution if you are having the same problems;
