Extruder wont go above 220

Post by colin.eamens@c-eamens.wales » Wed Dec 27, 2017 1:06 am

I have just finished building the rostock 301 3D printer and am now configuring it.

I have ABS Filament and am trying to test the extruder, but it will not go above 220 Degrees. I have set it to go to 245 but it will get up to 222 and then drop to 218 and back to 222 degrees.

Doe sany one have any idea on how to get it to go hotter, Is there a setting in the software.

I have tried the pre heat ABS and still it will not get any hotter
