Typical Geeetech firmware errors...

Hello,
So I've purchased (against my better judement) a G2s "Pro".

Firmware loaded (RKMB_G2560) from the repository loaded after building and calibrtating ... then comes the setup for the Z probe..... Probe points are set to withing 2" of the 0,0 origin, and despite apparently completing the G29 probe, the grid ends thus:

I don't trust the results as the values are far too high in places I know are very level.

The spider does not raise after probing, and just sits above the bed - commands to set z height to 0 result in the head raising to it's full height at slow feed rate, meaning I have to bring it back down to test the probe results - which "look" OK.

However, when a print is sent the nozzles slam into the bed......
