E180 LCD has stopped working

Post by AleB737 » Wed Jul 03, 2019 6:38 pm

Hello, today after finishing a print, on the LCD, a message appeared that said: "incorrect calibration" (or something like that, now I can't remember perfectly), and there was a button with an "Ok" to press . I tried to press it two or three times, and at a certain point, the printer restarted. Now the LCD is on and shows the main screen, but does not respond to any touch. I tried turning the printer on and off, but nothing changed. The firmware is updated to the latest version. Do you know what I could do?

Hi, the screws seem narrow to me. Isn't there a way to start the screen calibration via the PC?

What is the screen calibration you are referring to? I mean maybe the screen screw is too tight and the screen is not responding.

Now I tried to slightly loosen the screws, but nothing changed. What I mean is if there is a way to reset it via the PC

I tried to do everything the topic says, even doing everything that is done in the video, but it doesn't work. The screen turns on but does not respond to touches

Hi, very good idea, but it seems impossible.
