Hi all
I have an e180 printer which is about 1 month old.
While laying in bed on the 6th may the time was about 00:30 (12am), there was a loud bang.
I got up looked in all the rooms and found the pc in my study had gone off. Nothing in the room would come on. So I checked the fuse box and sure enough it has tripped.
I reset it and I turn the pc back on. I made sure that everything else was working, tv, external hard drive, mega drive & mega cd.
All worked. I turn to the print and it won’t turn on. I unplug it and as I look I can see the power supply had literally blown itself up! I have the circuit board with both cables attached but the plastic casing is in 2 halves.
We’re can I get a new one? I am assuming I can claim on the warranty?
E180 power supply failure. It literally blew up!
