Filament attachment on spool design

Post by nogo1972 » Fri May 06, 2022 10:34 pm

I was printing a large object of a Star Destroyer of the Star Wars series and the object was almost done when the filament got stuck in the spool and would not finish printing wasting about 7 hours of printing and not to mention the meters of filament wasted. The design of how your filament is attached to the spool should be examined. See attachment photos of how much of my object was printed when it stopped and how the filament is still stuck in the spool. The filament actually broke.
