Geeetech Superplate 3D Printer Aluminum Heatbed Kit

I really like the new hotplate.
A great idea for joining an aluminum plate and glass, which everyone uses anyway.
Those interested can watch it here: http://www.geeetech.com/geeetech-superp ... -1019.html

Maybe I will make a purchase in a while.

It is a pity that it was not designed to fit a full-sized version of Prusa I3 (for example, M201 - 23x30cm).

An LED indicator could be placed near the front edge. This ensures its better visibility.
It is possible here to mount a hot plate in any position. I prefer there to cables were brought from behind.

I have the idea to divide the heating circuit into two separately controlled parts.
It would be possible to make a circuit with a small area - internal, (eg 10x14cm) and a second external occupying the remaining surface.
Depending on the size of the project surface in the printer menu, you could choose which circuit should be active (small or both).
Such a solution would have a very positive effect on energy savings.

For obvious reasons, Geeetech's proprietary solutions would apply.
And the circuits on the hotplate could be customized to combine into one common.
In this way, you could use this version of the hotplate in other printers.
