301 printer Rods

Post by Percy » Thu Mar 23, 2017 4:25 am

Hi I have 6 printer rods (All 301 printers have six)
Any way 4 are 200 mm from canter of eye to canter of eye I but two are 202mm
I have tried to adjust this so that they all match but they have had lock tite or something put on them so I broke it!
Material is unbelievably soft!
Geeetech don't show them in there spares list?
I now have a printer that is three days old and not usable!
Lovely!
I haven't asked Technical for help, because I have asked for help on another printer I have. But I have never had an answer to any of my questions! I don't think Geeetech have a technical center!
Lets see if the Forum admin can help?

I have exactly the same issue, except that one rod is .2 mm too long and one rod is .4 mm too short. The head would get about 14mm to 20mm high and start jumping and losing layers. Some things that were narrow, would print fine, but if the print was 45 mm wide, it would hang up and crash every time. I need new rods, 2 the same length do that I can fix this. The printer works fine up to this point. Right now, I have a broken rod and one that is too long. What can we do to make this right????
