How Can We Define Christian Patriarchy?

Post by joycepoag » Tue Jun 21, 2022 10:01 pm

Christian patriarchy is a tendency to override the church authorities. This is manifested when the local church's true power and role are less than the patriarchal authority in the household. Christian fathers cannot override the proper authority and functions in the church. Christian patriarchy abuse is an important topic that you must learn about while studying Christian patriarchy.
For example, Christ has not been entrusted to men who have not ordained the ministry of the public word and the administration of ceremonies, church discipline, etc. I have heard of families with a patriarchal inclination who believed that they had the authority to overrule ecclesiastical authority refusing to permit churches to punish their rebellious children. The Patriarchy movement fails to stress that the patriarch at home is a person under the church's control.
