Hello all

I have Geeetech acrylic I3 pro B several months and I had to make a lot of improvements so that at least could be printed.
But I'm still not happy with print quality. MK8 hot end have still problem with printing large object infill isnt compact, sometimes even omits.
Small details are not printed correctly or are missing completely.

So I decided to replace MK8 for Metal short-distance J-head with direct drive.
Including the replacement of the plastic extruder behind the metal.
I know MK8 isnt compatible with J-head, so I have to print some conversion kit.
Another problem I have is constantly changing height Z and before each print must be adjusted.
That is why I want to add it 3Dtouch auto bed leveling sensor.
Also fanduct and some LED for lighting.
Firmware upgrade to Marlin 1.1.8 I'm done already.

Has anybody made any such improvements?
I will welcome tips, experiences, tutorials, and if someone has a 3D model for conversion I will be very happy.

Hi,
if you like, you can try my modification for my "Geeetech i3 a pro". Goto: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3487000
I think it should work with the "Geeetech i3 pro b" too. Maybe this is what you were looking for?
