Hi!

Im curious...My prints have gone from quite OK to very good results with some tweaks.

Now that I try to print again a month later the prints are a total disaster with failures in layers adhesion, infill is crap and I have to abort after 1st layer

So I suspect I need to reflash the firmware again...why does it happens ?

This makes me wonder...

Why have settings in Firmware ( are they for stand alone prints from SD) ?

Why have settings in repetier host? (are they for prints from computer) does this overrides firmware in printer?

Then I use OctoPi on a Raspberry to remote control my printer from work (that also have configs for printer)... does this overrides printer firmware as well?

# sources for 3 configs - 3 different results?

Anyway - ill start over again - hoping to get it OK again.

I also measured the voltage for extruder-motor, it was a bit low and now I set it to 1.159 volts.

After new firmware and several tests it now seems the prints are fairly ok.

The extruder motor clicks every now and then... Do I up the voltage more?

You mean the A4988 voltage? If so,it is enough.
And,how did the clicking go?You have a broken A4988?

Yes I mean the driver A4988.

I'm going to order some spares.

Finally something that looks ok again....I had to increase the voltage a bit more to stop klicking/missing steps

I do not want to risk measure at the moment as I have 2 hours left on this print ( I did shortcut yesterday, the printer made a reset in the middle of a print)

Here is the link to the print thats on the table atm.
