Hi,
I’ve do some test and my idea that the barrel are not cooled enough was confirmed!
I’ve design a specific update to my customization in order to redirect the MK8 fan air versus the barrel, so versus the cooling zone:

With this I finally am able to print “strange” PLA that ask more degrees, with retraction!
You can find on my http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1708971 like all other componets of my customization!

Hello,
Bonjour,

You will find the original text translated into English following this original French text.

Cordialement,

L'ami René

Hello,

Excuse me, I am unilingual francophone and I use Google translator to translate the texts of the forum in French and to write to you in English. Thank you for your understanding and your indulgence for these texts translated mechanically!

I bought on September 24, 2016 a Geeetech Rostock 301 delta printer (M301) which has a lot of design problems. So it does not necessarily concern your problems.

But in the following topic, you may find some possible solutions that you could apply to your case:

Cordially,

Friend René

you can try fitting a weaker spring in the filament pinch mechanism. The one which came with my printer was too strong and caused the motor to stall (click noise) I fitted a weaker one and ordered an aluminium mechanism which allows you to adjust the pinch pressure.

With the aluminium pinch mechanism fitted and adjusted, no more problems, filament feeds perfectly! :D

Play Bonny!
