i3 Y-axis drifting

Post by frovin » Fri May 13, 2016 10:23 pm

Hi,

I have problems with my Y-axis (the heat bed). It's drifting slightly, and mostely in the lower layers. This is what a test print looks like when printed in transparent PLA at 200/70 C. If I do a test print and return the nozzle to 0,0,0 the printer is still in calibration, so it's not the stepper loosing steps or something like that. I tried increasing and decreasing the belt tension without any change in result. My own guess is that the threaded rods on the Z-axis are not 100% straight ?

Any suggestions are welcome !

The problem has been solved. I was the wheel inside belt pulley in the y-axis which did not rune totally smooth. I loosend the diagonal screw a little, and that was it.
