Evening Guru's
my a10m experienced an issue while printing tonight i went away for only 20mins screen when i returned, i had a row of boxes in the middle of the screen, the end was in the middle of bed (which appeared to be caught on the print) ... i have have a few issues with this printer in the past .. nothing i couldn't fix .. its preformed well over 600+ prints from simple 5min prints to 30hour prints .... with 90-95% success rate
This issue i'm not sure how to resolve i think its either corrupt stored data or a damaged mainboard....
X/Y/Z all appears fine but the temp displays read 130/0 - 120/0 on top "Attached" once i reset sit unit after incident
i have tried re-flashing which made not change .. unplugged both head and bed temp remained to same
Update - i just tried removing everything except lcd still same result .. even attempted to wipe eeprom..
hopefully some one has an idea ... i think it would be a mainboard replacement
Mainboard is the GT2650V3
Thanks Guys,
Bigthermalboy

hi again guru's
if i replace control board to GT2650 v4 what cable will i need to interface with v3.1 LCD ?
Thanks

Update ..
Created a small Arduino Sketch to read the Temp Pins..
Correct me if I'm wrong but with an open circuit
All the pins should be the same value, however 2 are reading different values except 2 -
T0,T1,T2,T3 - analog pin 8-11
T0 & T1 read 1024 which i believe they should, as the 4.7k is pulling it up. T2 and T3 382 & 450 ??? ..
i'm thinking rerouting some of these pins to unused ADC and rewrite the A10M script to support change ..
firstly i'm going to check / replace the caps/resistor of the pull-up circuit on these pins and see if theres a change..

Update ..
i have create a secondary pull up circuit ,now my end/bed are going to adc 4/6 also update sketch to support change .. temps are near perfect based on room temp ... however heaters are not functioning ..... ??? more damage .... more updates to follow ... i'm starting to believe a short circuit from the extruder is to blame for the damage ... many years of Arduino work this appears to be a unique failure. poor design around hot end .. note: my printer earlier generation of the A10M as you guy have noted the GT2650v3 control board .. .. i have already ordered a new printer from Geeetech its a A30T which i'm sure a lot of bugs are ironed out fingers X'd .... i hoping to repair my A10M despite its faults works well

Re: A10M - Temp issue after crash :(
Update ... it's working ...
when flashing i used textedit (Mac OSX) to edit pin config which i knew at the time may cause issues (heaters/XYZ not working), i used brackets to re-write code, heaters / motors end stops & temps etc all work..
purchased a new print head..install as the old looks like road kill after incident ..
so now hotend temp is on ADC4 and Bed on 6 ... i've done a few prints to test no issue ..

Re: A10M - Temp issue after crash :(
A day or two later after last post - i relised the print fan was not spinning , like all ways over thinking stuff, i was preparing to engineer a circuit
for the fan..... after days of checking cable mainboard wiring and hotend connector board it was a damn broken wire in the fans cable lol, all working fine then days later print head started vibrating horribly ... i found a fin on the hotend fans had broken off 30days later i received new cooling fans during that time i hyped up the print cooling - print is not great due to cooling issues ....
