Rostock 301 Settings

Hy,

I am Simon from Austria and i print normally with a bq Witbox 2,
but some weeks ago i bought a Rostock 301 on Aliexpress, because of the Mix Features,
but i have some Troubles with it and i don't know the right Settings and i would be glad for help!


I apologize in advance for my bad English ;-)

Questions:

1. How to set exactly the middle of the platform?
2. What do the abbreviations in the Settings mean?
-> Amax E? V.- jerk? Effector offs? Carriage Offs? Delta Radius) Print Radius?.... What would be the correct settings?

About the settings,just keep them the default values.
Don't modify them arbitrarily.

OK i've done it!

But how about the other Questions?

Diagonal Rod is now 188, i've measured 200!?

Ma plaque chauffante d'impression en aluminium n'est pas plate, elle est concave, c'est la raison du « Delta Radius : 94.0 ».

Comme je débute avec les imprimantes 3D, je ne peux vous aidez pour les explications des différent paramètre, car je suis moi-même à la recherche des textes explicatifs, ma je ne trouve presque rien et Geeetech ne répond pas à nos demandes d'informations et des détails sur leurs produits !

My aluminum hotplate is not flat, it is concave, this is the reason for the "Delta Radius: 94.0".

Hy Rene,

My settings are almost the same!
For: Delta, Diagonal Rod I have 200.
Yesterday I set and tried many things, the 3D print now almost fits.
My Planetary Gearboxes have a good torque and now the Filament supply works,
but i dont know how much steps/mm to set, so i multiplied a factor in Slicer!

At the speeds indicated by geeetech the axis loses way (steps), so reduce the Speeds!
I tried now, print with 20mm and a travel Speed from 40mm.

With my Witbox 1 and Witbox 2 i could print 90mm/s with the right Filament,
but they were also more expensive, Nevertheless the data from geeetech do not agree!!!

I tried to solve the Problem with the Extrusion Multiplier, i changed to 3,
because i dont know how many steps per mm.

I think it needs a better Motor with more torque for the axis too!
