Power Supply

Post by paurosello » Sat Aug 30, 2014 3:55 pm

Hello I have a problem with the power supply that I bought with the Delta Kit.

The problem seems to be that the power supply is not allways at 12 Volts.

When I turn it on, without the USB connected it is at 2.83V. Here comes the first problem as the LCD screen does not have enough power to run, maybe the whole system cannot run.

When I connect the USB, the power goes up to 4.09V. The LCD works, I can connect to the printer but it does not move nor heats.

Sometimes the power just goes up to 12V and everything seems to work excepts that when the hotend is about to reach the temperature, the power supply turns off and goes back to 2.83V again. So everithing stops working forever.

I don't know what to do. I could post images of the whole process if this is not clear.

Thank you very much

The brown line is zero line。
The blue line is FireWire line。
The yellow&green line is ground line。
The red(v+) is 12v,the black(v-) is gnd。

Hello,

Thank you for your response, the power net is 220.

It seems everything is connected alright, you can see the photos here. (Red cable is positive and black is negative as you said but I think your connection is wrong)

The screen is off and it only turns on when I connect the USB but the voltage in the font is still 4~ V
