Good morning, I have a problem with the printer.
As soon as I finished editing I turned on the printer that seemed to work properly, the display appeared on the insert SD Card, after a couple of minutes the screen became completely black and no longer worked.
The printer was mounted correctly and I checked the connections several times.
It's really frustrating, mount the printer in several hours and find this flaw.

Hi, You can use a multimer to measure the voltage on the main board.it should be 5V.

Hi, You can try to reconnect the cable of the LCD screen. This can happen due to poor contact.

I have two GT2560 A+ boards and three displays none of which work. I have tried the Discount Smart controller (Red PCB) and the Full graphic Smart controller and an old 5 button Anet style display all of which fail to work on the Geeetech board whatever I do. Like many people I too get the two rows of white blocks in the first of the above displays, I get just a backlit blanks screen on the Full Graphic screen and similar lack of activity on the Anet version. I have checked and double checked the Marlin selections and they are correct in each case.

You would have thought that a company that states that such screens are supported would either provide a way to checking which screen to buy or would provide instructions to ensure users can set up their printers with working screens. I'm happy with the board - they work fine but I cannot find a screen that will work with it.

I have also looked around for guidance on the pin out to see if I could make a lead but there is nothing clear other than a suggestion to reverse the plugs (doesn't work in my case) and someone who claims that they matched the connections down to the processor level in order to make custom leads. If this is possible and so many people are having problems why is Geeetech not providing these solutions? - they can always say no guarantee it will work but at least we would feel supported. As you can tell I'm not a happy bunny!
