LCD 2004 Garbage on

Post by 4x6hp » Fri May 15, 2015 9:22 pm

Hi,

After first power on, just assembled geeetech prusa i3 printer, on the LCD I see strange characters. Look at the pictures attached. Double checked all solder pins on LCD PCB and on cable adapter, no problems found.
Can some body to advice?

The cable swaping did not help.
The problem was, wrong LCD type selection while upload firmware.
The problem solved by reloading firmware and defing #define REPRAP_DISCOUNT_SMART_CONTROLLER
