No reaction with Repetier host

Post by watzmann » Sat Oct 15, 2016 5:41 pm

Hi Forum!
I just built my new i3 pro A aluminium. It was fun building it, perfect Aluminium parts BTW!
I connected the control box and was able to move the axis from the box. I installed arduino 1.01 and loaded the latest Firmware (I hope) - PI3A Pro.zip ( http://www.geeetech.com/forum/download/file.php?id=2100 )
I changed the stepper direction and set the max endstops for all 3 axis.
Now I can control the axis from the control box. Then I installed Repetier host (only the host) - 1.6.0 and later also 1.6.2.
When I connect to the Repetier host it tells me it is connected, however when I try to manually to controll the printer nothing happens.
No movement, no change in the display - nothing.
Do you have any idea?
Regards,
Frank

Hi,Frank
You should check if the two settings are right:

You can find the corresonding COM port in Device Manager, and the Baud Rate for ProA is 250000.
-Keep your mind and try to test it. :)
-Everything will be fun!-Support all Getech printer.
-You can ask me the questions and I will kindly reply.

baud rate is correct - 250000, com port as well and Repetier shows the green connected button.
Cables are checked, USB cable has been replaced just in case,
I can connect via arduino sketch tool and uploade the firmware.
I can move the axis from the control box, but it doesn't react from Repetier in any way...
Thanks,
Frank

It's working now.
Reinstalling the USB/serial driver and plugging into another USB fixed it.
Thanks!
