Hi Flamtap,

What a shame I already packed up my printer for return to Getech because setting it up totally as a single nozzle printer is something I had not considered trying before. Anyway, if my Ramps 1.4 board arrived before I would have simply swapped out the controller and replaced it with a standard Ramps 1.4 board bypassing all the inherent issues related to using an old version of firmware as the software base for this printer.

Additionally I suspect that there may be issues related to the operating system version and IU suspect that the Arduino IDE is not behaving properly under Windows 10, but I have no way of verifying other versions and configurations. Additionally I wish I knew how to handle arduino binary images so we could upload a binary image to the board to bypass the possibility of compiling/linking errors on the compilation platform.

I will hang around this forum to see how this equipment progresses even though I am moving to another Delta platform.

Cheers, Rick

Bump.

Same issue here. Single head printing works well; extruding with head 2 causes z axis to raise. Speed seems to be in relation to extrusion speed requested.

Yes, please post what you have and what we need to do here. That would be very helpful. Thanks, Rick

Yes, please post it here.

Also, is this a custom part of the Marlin firmware or something? Why is the problem caused/fixed by Geeetech changes?

How is this firmware update working for everyone?

Could we post it to this forum, or could someone PM me a copy?

Thanks!
