JIETAI Metal J-head V2.0 Delta Rostock Bowden extruder & coo

Post by vfurlano » Sun Jan 25, 2015 4:08 am

I recently purchased the JIETAI Metal J-head V2.0 Delta Rostock Bowden extruder & cooling fan on ebay from Tenovo2010

The filament keeps on jamming in the in the stainless steel feed pipe. The feed gets to hot even the fan running at 100%. I've tried different temperature settings ( 180 deg c to 235 deg c). The results are always the same the filament always melts in the feed pipe before reaching the nozzle.

I have thoroughly cleaned numerous times so that I could try the different heat setting as per my posting. The fan is always set at 100%.
The issue is that filament starts getting soft before the nozzle, the design of the nozzle does not provide enough insulation to prevent this.
