Hi, I've been trying to upload a bootloader onto my GT2560 Rev A because I've changed my z-axis to T8 leadscrews, I've bought a USBasp but either windows 10 doesn't pick it up or Arduino does recognize the com port I have also tried every type of driver on the zadig software. I run windows 10 with Arduino 1.0.6.
I believe I've wired it up properly using the wiring diagram on here but it still doesn't work please help!!!
(i am new to this if you can't tell

Hello.

Show the screenshot from the Windows Device Manager. ;)

You probably have a wrongly installed USBasp driver. In Zadig you have to choose USBasp , and driver "libusb-win32". Click "Reinstall Driver".

Hi.

In this case, the USBasp programmer must be selected in the program. This has nothing to do with the COM port. ;)

You may need to set a slower transmission to the programmer.
New programmers are sold with old firmware. :?
