i3 Pro A extra fan - PWM or FAN 1?

Post by symowallo » Wed Jan 10, 2018 3:06 pm

Hi, in an effort to help with adhesion/curling of my PLA prints, I have printed a bracket for the print bed/nozzle and sourced a 12V 40mm fan, so that I can provide cooling to the bed/nozzle area. My question is, should I hook this up to FAN 1 (printhead fan is already on FAN0) or to the PWM socket? It's a PWM capable fan - ie. it has the 3-pin connector.

Ideally I'd like to be able to switch on/off the fan via Repetier so that when I'm printing ABS, I can have this fan disabled.
