Team,
I bought the Duemilanove from following link http://www.ebay.com/itm/281317697348?ss ... 1497.l2649.
I tried connecting to my pc using USB cable which is perfectly working for my original Arduino UNO boards. But I got no response from the device. (NO Power LED/indicator light ups).
Even same result from the original Arduino UNO AC-to-DC power adapter !.
Seems the board is dead!, are there any work around for this?

Re: Geeetech Chinduino Duemilanove dead
I'm sorry to hear that,At first, you should check the board obvious damage or missing parts.
then you test the USB 5V output and The LED forward and reverse resistance.

Re: Geeetech Chinduino Duemilanove dead
My field of area is industrial automation, I know electronics.
There are no physical damages on the board and there are no missing parts, that I can see.
If you read my first post you can see that I have checked my USB 5V using the original Arduino board and it works like a charm!.

Dear friend,
I am sincerely sorry for my late reply.
Please be a little patient and try the following two ways:
1.Change another usb cable to see whether it can be powered up.
2.Use your 5V power supply through the ISP interface to have a try and see if the problem still exists.
We are always trying to help you to solve it as soon as possible.
Appreciate your patience and understanding.
Look forward to your early reply.
Best regards

Thank you for the reply. Lets go back to my first post in detail.
Firs Quote from my original post :
"I tried connecting to my pc using USB cable which is perfectly working for my original Arduino UNO boards. But I got no response from the device. (NO Power LED/indicator light ups). "
Meaning :
The Original Arduino UNO board i am having now is working for the USB cable which I am having (I tested several times to make sure), so why Geeetech Chinduino Duemilanove board is not working for the USB cable?
Second Quote from my original post :
"Even same result from the original Arduino UNO 5V AC-to-DC power adapter !."
Meaning :
The Original Arduino UNO board's AC-to-DC power adapter is working fro the Arduino UNO board which I am having (I tested several times to make sure), so why Geeetech Chinduino Duemilanove board is not working for the Arduino UNO 5V AC-to-DC power?
I have tested your 1 and 2nd actions and gets no to power indicator LED, from my multi-meter voltmeter scale to the Chinduino Duemilanove board's USB interface and ISP adapter interface pins detects 5V. So this confirms power is coming correctly to the Chinduino Duemilanove board.

Dear friend,
Sorry for our poor English that we didn't make your problems clearly.
Do you have software like AVG-GCC or AVR studio?
If you have AVR studio, please use ISP to download the program.I have added the test code at the end of the post.
If you have other compiler, just copy the contents out of the document C.
After that, please check the led near pin13 is on or off.
Appreciate your patience.
Look forward to your early reply.

Re: Geeetech Chinduino Duemilanove dead
Dear friend,
Do you have a multimeter?
Please connect DC power supply to it and use the multimeter to test the output voltage of 5V and 3.3V.(You can check it according to the added picture)
If it can't shows the right voltage, you have to replce a new IC4.
Look forward to your early reply.

Re: Geeetech Chinduino Duemilanove dead
Seems IC4 dead, not outputting 5Vs. I don't have a IC4 with me, please send it soon.
When a there is a actual defect on the board you should either refund or send a new board.
Why should I try to repair it from this end.
