Hi,

I am new to the world of 3d Printing and am building my Geeetech Pro W at the moment. I was just wondering if I can turn the heat block by 90 degrees? I have printed a circular fan shroud with an inbuilt support for the 3D auto touch from thingiverse but at the moment one corner of the heat block is pushing against the fan shroud (this would be fixed if I can rotate the heat block 90 degrees around the axis of the nozzle).

Please let me know if this is something you advise against? I tried moving it but it seems seized. Would heating the hot-end up help here?

best regards,

Yes, you can loosen the nut of throat rod and rotate the threaded rod and then tighten the two nuts when you have a good position.
