Marlin A10T

Post by Picco77 » Thu May 14, 2020 8:41 pm

Hello,
Can we have a marlin for the A10T?
I have an extruder with 4mm difference compared to the others.
You can't just set an extruder on the machine.
Thank you.

Thank you William, but it is in Hex format.
I wish to be able to adjust the steps for each extrusion motor.
In this format impossible.

How do we obtain compilable Marlin?

I purchased my A10T used and it had been totally messed up, including having the wrong firmware flashed to it. After replacing the 3D touch and cleaning out the blocked hot end most of the printer now works. For some strange reason my stepper motors are running in reverse and without editable Marlin (config.h etc) I can't correct mine.

Hi!
Search for VertaBreak github - there is marlin 2.0 for a10 series.
Just few days ago i have built the firmware for my a10 (gt2560 v4) from vert's source code. Test print is fine!
I have just corrected steps per mm ans that's all! You should just enable multi extruder in Start_here.h.

The correct behaviour of the stepper motor is defined by the type of driver and running direction, both of these you could change in firmware!
What's yours problem with z?

Yes my problem originally was with the standard Geetech firmware being in Hex format, I couldn't change any settings within Marlin. Everything was working except the extruder motors functioned is reverse so I couldn't get filament to feed.
I now have Vert's Marlin 2 installed and the Extruders now run in the correct direction but although I can control the Z axis up and down via the control panel, when I try to level the Z axis will not travel downward when trying to level or home. The 3D touch probe just deployes and stows but the gantry does not move down.

Would someone be so kind and share their marlin version?
The one from VertaBreaks github is not working on my A10T. Display stays blank after flashing.
