I just got my brand new A30 Pro put together and was following the video on how to install the 3DTouch 3.2. I plugged in the Brown/Red/Orange wire just like the video with brown on top and I heard something sizzle and pop. I'm not sure where it came from, but there was no smoke and no smell I could detect.
I kept going just to test things out. The motion seems to react ok in Repetier Manual Control. When I turn the printer on the 3DTouch pin goes out/in. Ok that seems fine.
But when I turn auto leveling on and press Measure, it goes to home in the corner, then goes to the center and up Z axis about +60 and just sits there. The exact same thing happens when I press Home in Repetier.
Please help! This is a a new (still unused) printer fresh out of the box and I have no idea if something is damaged. That sound really scared me and I don't know if it was the motherboard, the extruder assembly or the 3DTouch itself.
Help! I Think Something Blew!
