Runout Sensor

Post by dabe » Sun Apr 19, 2020 6:46 am

I purchased the A30 one Week ago. Everything works fine. Yesterday I tested the Filament Runout-Sensor:

When the Filament is running out, the Sensor is pausing the Printer.
The Nozzle and the Bed are cooling down and it is possible, that the printed Object looses the adhesion.

There is no sense in cooling down the system.

Is it possible to chance the basic settings, that the Bed keeps its temperature when the Runout Sensor is activated ?

Is a newer Firmware-Version available in which this problem is solved ?

Thanks a lot ...

Look for a standby temperature several printers and slicers have it. I will let you know if I find it when I am done building it. Also look for an octoprint extension.
